LinkedGeoData Data Set

The LinkedGeoData data set is a large spatial knowledge base which has been derived from Open Street Map. LinkedGeoData currently describes 320 million nodes and 25 million ways (June 2009).

Nodes Reduced Contains RDF descriptions of “interesting” nodes or points-of-interest, i.e. nodes which have information attached. This excludes all nodes that carry no information after subtracting highway- and TMC-related (traffic message channel) information.

Most of the LGD data is derived from information collected by the Open Street Map project (http://www.openstreetmap.org) and licensed under the same terms as the OSM data, currently the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 license.
